The Kansas Heart Hospital facility applies superior technology to every area of our practice. The fully digital cardiac and vascular catheterization labs, the first of their kind in the area, are just an example.
With 28 private inpatient beds, 14 ICU beds, and 12 intermediate patient beds, the Kansas Heart Hospital will serve patients from diagnosis through medical and surgical treatment and on to rehabilitation.
Technology has its place in the healing process; so do the comforts of home. Case in point: the hospital will serve food prepared on site by a chef from a four-star restaurant in the area.
All hospital rooms are private and spacious, with a lounger that converts into a guest bed so that a family member can remain with you. The “head board” with all the sophisticated ports of medical gases, suction, compressed air and monitor ports are in every patient’s room, not just the Intensive Care Units (ICU). Any room can be converted, if needed, into an ICU instantly. Windows are large, enabling unobstructed views. Our patient’s comfort and convenience is vitally important.
The central station provides coordination for the entire hospital, from patient admission to discharge. Efficient procedures eliminate delays and provide a streamlined, convenient service for you.
There is a nurse's satellite station located in between every two patient rooms. In addition, in order to have constant observation of our patients in the Intensive Care Unit, this area has nurse observation windows that allow round the clock monitoring.
We believe in encompassing, compassionate care that centers on the patient, extends to loved ones, and reaches beyond to every aspect of the patient's return to a rich and full life.
